Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive educational excellence? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Data & Examinations Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead the curation, analysis, and utilisation of data across our schools while overseeing all aspects of secondary examinations.
- Curate and analyse data across our school network, ensuring meticulous storage in our Management Information System (MIS) and facilitating its effective use within the school.
- Manage third-party reporting systems like Power BI to enable users to conduct in-depth analyses.
- Oversee all secondary examination processes from registration to post-examination procedures, ensuring compliance with examination policies.
- Generate comprehensive reports for various stakeholders including DfE, Trust Board, local authority, governing body, school leadership, and department heads.
- Ensure meticulous curation and input of previous attainment records for external students, incorporating Pupil Premium funding data.
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to ensure GDPR compliance and manage FOI and SAR requests.
- Supervise internal assessment procedures, create data sheets, and ensure accuracy.
- Administer standardised baseline testing and coordinate assessment sittings for students.
- Handle exam board registrations, budget management, and secure storage of exam papers and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR for invigilator recruitment and training, ensuring adherence to exam timetables and procedures.
- Proficiency in percentage calculations, mean, median, mode, weighted averages, logic formulas (e.g., IF/THEN/ELSE).
- Strong understanding and application of Key Stage 3, 4, and post-16 educational metrics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of attendance and exclusion metrics, compliance with exam regulations, and paper storage protocols.
