HR Advisor – FTC

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team. The HR Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering positive employee relations within the organisation. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and assessments.
  • Help onboard new employees, providing them with necessary paperwork and information.
  • Offer guidance and support to managers during the probationary period.

Employee Relations:

  • Assist in investigations for disciplinary, capability, and grievance hearings.
  • Attend hearings and produce notes and draft outcome letters.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and provide feedback as needed.
  • Offer guidance and support on matters related to maternity, adoption, paternity leave, etc.

Training and Development:

  • Support the implementation of a company-wide training plan.
  • Provide assistance to managers regarding training and performance appraisals.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to source cost-effective training options.
  • Ensure training records are well-maintained and provide feedback to managers and the HR Manager.
  • Draft training agreements for professional studies.
  • Assist with administering apprenticeship programs.
  • Offer coaching to managers on employee issues and situations.
  • Deliver internal training on HR-related matters if required.

Health and Wellbeing:

  • Assist in managing staff absences, including persistent short-term absences and long-term sick absences.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to report on absence information, including trends and levels.
  • Maintain relevant records, including return-to-work interviews.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a wellbeing program.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
