HR Coordinator

BramahHR are recruiting for an HR Coordinator to join a fantastic company and be a part of a growing HR department. Paying up to £30k.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in all elements of investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
  • Managing all processes that are friendly to families.
  • Provide all employees with employment-related information and guidance, such as maternity/paternity leave entitlement, pension eligibility, and so on.
  • Overseeing the Visa Sponsorship Program Bringing policies and procedures up to date in accordance with current employment laws
  • Assist Payroll with all family-friendly payments and processes.
  • Organise advertising, shortlisting, and interview/assessment days.
  • Managing new starting procedures, such as DBS applications, references, health and qualification checks, in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Ensure that all employees are given job descriptions and that a signed copy is kept on file, and that all equal opportunity obligations are met at all times.
  • Ensure that all workers receive supervision meetings on a regular basis, in accordance with the Company’s requirements and job descriptions.
  • Analyse training requirements in light of organisational expectations and in consultation with department/line managers. Managing probations in the middle and at the finish.
  • Keep track of all employee absences and ensure compliance with relevant policies relating to employee well-being and absence management, including completing return-to-work interviews, monitoring absence levels across the organisation, highlighting areas of concern, and discussing adjustments with line managers and senior leaders as needed.
  • Maintain all HR files, including employee files, to ensure that DBS and necessary qualifications are current.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification or equivalent HR experience
  • Supporting Employment Relations matters, such as disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes, is a plus.
  • Working with a small management team is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a situation where there are multiple pressures and expectations
  • Possessing the ability to act on your own initiative
