Are you an experienced HR Manager looking for a new challenge? This role will report into the HR Director for a growing organisation working within a small HR team. You will be required to work onsite from their head office based on the outskirts of Newbury. This role is paying up to £50k DOE – Would consider 4 days per week plus a great benefits package!
Responsibilities:
- Handle all cases involving employee relations, including disagreements, reprimands, complaints, absences, retirement, and redundancies.
- Provide managers and employees with best practises and advice on employment terms and conditions.
- Assist in the creation of HR policies and practises that adhere to employment law and best practises.
- Continue to monitor and evaluate HR procedures, making adjustments as needed.
- Offer suggestions for recruitment and selection tactics.
- Work on the recruitment process and campaigns with the HR Officer; this may involve creating job descriptions, creating information packets, devising selection procedures, and conducting interviews.
- Implement best practises and contribute to the creation and promotion of equality, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
- Create and market initiatives for staff welfare.
- Assist in the rollout and ongoing development of the HR management information system in close collaboration with the rest of the HR team.
- Create reports on a variety of HR data, such as employee absence, turnover, and staff profiles.
- Conduct pay and reward research and offer suggestions as needed.
Skills/ Experience:
- Level 7 CIPD qualified
- Three to five years of demonstrated generalist HR experience are required.
- Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to handle a hectic workload under pressure.
- Excellent coaching and communication abilities, with the capacity to connect with a variety of people.
