Personal Assistant

We are currently in search of a skilled and forward-thinking professional to join our prestigious educational institution in the role of Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal. As the dedicated EA, you will assume a crucial role in delivering tailored and efficient support. This role necessitates a high degree of adaptability, flexibility, and a firm dedication to achieving the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the immediate, proficient, and efficient liaison for the Principal.
  • Manage the calendars of several senior leadership colleagues, coordinating meetings, scheduling appointments, and addressing related inquiries.
  • Oversee the Principal’s email and postal correspondence.
  • Handle and direct phone calls on behalf of the Principal.
  • Generate letters, reports, minutes, and other written communications as required.
  • Edit and finalise letters to an exceptional standard, including correcting spelling, punctuation, grammar, and specialised terminology.
  • Aid in organising and promoting events.
  • Prepare meeting spaces, replenish refreshments, accompany visitors, and more.
  • Manage the flow of information accurately and promptly.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations when needed.
  • Format information for internal and external communications, such as memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the website, social media presence, and promotional materials.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with staff across various functions.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable role, preferably within an educational context.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating smooth interactions with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Adept at producing meticulously detailed high-quality written materials.
  • Skillful management of schedules, appointments, and meeting logistics.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and expertise in risk assessment processes.
  • Knowledgeable about IT management and capable of contributing to technology enhancements.
  • Understanding of GDPR and principles of data protection.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Flexible work approach that enables seamless adjustment to evolving needs and priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £34,500.00 per year
